Fair point. There are enough paid staff to do the sums and work out that a good experience keeps crowds coming and a tinpot experience doesn't. Penny-pinch and you reduce crowds - the core income. Why am I even having to explain this FFS ? (To the regime not you tango, you make a good point on behalf of the exploited. And by the way, it cost me £100 to do the match-day experience today Grayham. You?

I was told that some gatemen/women have had enough of not being paid whilst most stewards are. That was obviously going to happen, it's human nature I suppose. You can't pick and choose who you pay, it's either everybody or nobody. It's a privately owned football club, they should be paying everyone. People must be thinking if Graham Turner can run a league 2 football club at break even on gates far less than the current ones then why should I volunteer.

I think some of them are fed up of the abuse they received about the coleshill ticket and subsequent delay, after all I get abuse off customers at the doorstep but I get paid for that privelidge, remember these are volunteers although they got paid under turner and even under keyte (now and again)

With our crowds it is a disgrace that we are relying on volunteers to man the gates, don't know what the rate is but if it's £30 each and free entry to game that's only £380 for 2500 plus crowd not a fortune is it, or maybe the directors could do it, instead of living it up in the hospitality suit
