I see we are playing Pershore a week tomorrow in the Midlands Cup, I have searched the internet and just can't find a reference to this competition, can anyone help? How many teams are in it etc

think someone asked the same thing on the old forum, which obvs is gone now, but basically MFL Prem and MFL 1 teams compete in their own League Cup. whilst the MFL 2 and MFL 3 teams have their own competition.
because of the number of teams there has to be 10 games played in round one with the rest of the teams receiving byes in the first round. I personally would have set the format so all 20 MFL1 teams play each other first and then the 10 go through to a second round where the MFL Prem clubs enter the competition, a sort of qualifying round to earn a game against a Prem team.
however the MFL decided all teams were put in the hat and drawn out.
