The level of away support is surely determined by a) accessibility, b) what is at stake in terms of the result, and c) current performance. Our travelling support so far has been good for this level (Cliff knows where all those Russians are though), but should increase for the next away-day at Boldmere mainly because it's relatively easy to get to, and hopefully because our next 3 home games will produce some momentum (I predict 8-4, 6-3, and a dull and pedestrian 5-5 draw against Lye). Either way, the attendances for HFC away games have been and will continue to be higher than the other MFL teams are used to, so can only be beneficial to those other teams financially. All good, really. I am working on our plans for your visit to Boldmere on the 26th and would be interested to hear thoughts on the likely increase given how easy the travel is. I work in Bromsgrove and have often caught the Hereford train to Boldmere. Change at new street for the train to Chester Road, which runs every 10 minutes. It's then around 10 minutes walk to the ground. I know that variables such as current form and the weather can affect it. I'm also wondering whether having the vase trip the following week may reduce it a little. Also, how many tend buy programmes? We want to make it as smooth and welcoming as we can by getting the scale of things right, so any helpful contributions are appreciated. Cheers, Statto.

When you say you want to make it as smooth welcoming as you can and get the number of match programmes right...could we possibly sign you for Hereford?

Although you may not have met me, clearly you did see me play lol!! Sadly, I don't get the mitts on very often nowadays. I'd have been buzzing for Saturday!! Think I may have played against United once, in a pre season friendly when I was at Stourport. Remember an incident with Scott Voice, but can't remember if he was at Bilston or The Bulls at the time. We never seemed to get on!! Looking forward to both games.
