Seems to of fallen to normal levels..200-300. Lots of clubs were hoping for big paydays.., but.... The hype was just hype , and these clubs just do a little bit more trade than normal.....

Results haven't been too good of late and Heanor was quite a trek for what it was.

Say 250.... travelling 122 miles...so that'll be 30,500 miles in one day to watch a step 5 team.... I'd call that brilliant support

Fallen to normal levels?! Why would you expect anything else? We probably took more up there today than most conference clubs have taken anywhere this season. Be good to build a bigger following away from home as we hopefully move up the leagues, but people aren't going to start going to away games regularly when they never previously have.

It's all very good as well, drinking allowed in all areas, so far all have been made welcome, and there is a togetherness as Bulls supporters ( so far ) and I haven't been called a fat bast**d yet by our own Crewe.

With the results of the last two away games ( can't call Westfields away now can you?) I think the away following could well improve, 11 goals lol for 5 against, makes good value for money.

Not sure what point the OP is making here. In a league where a 100/200 gate is a big crowd, for 250 away support to turn up would be a very big deal. Seems a bit silly to suggest otherwise.

I thought the numbers were good considering the distance. Also thought it was easily the best away atmosphere too. A great day.

I'm sure eveshambull already said elsewhere that he'd given up on HFC so I wouldn't get too worked up by his thoughts.

Don't see what's wrong with away support being at 'normal level', surely that is great considering how many leagues we have dropped?

You seem to miss the point... Most clubs were worried the wouldn't be able to cope.., as they were expecting a thousand plus to turn up.. These clubs will of been looking at the away HFC support., and realise that maybe 500/600 is a more realistic number...
No negativity in the OP.., just making an observation..

I think most knew it would drop to ordinary levels. plenty of posts especially on the Midland League forum telling clubs that things would normalise once the glory hunters and those with unreasonable expectations (hi Miserabull:-) ) dropped out. Today was fantastic, a real togethereness and some atmosphere.
I'm another of those who thought yesterdays turn out was great considering the distance and the recent results. Looking forward to the next away game.

The bar was struggling to cope with the amount of people who were there as it was, chances of anyone of us getting a pint with 600 plus would I surgest have been almost impossible.

I'm sorry, but I'll bite..........given the indifferent start we gave had I think the numbers travelling gave been little short of anazing. Especially given the level we are at. If we get in the mix at the top, this will only increase......
