James Mcquilkin has just left Torquay Telford, accordingly to bulls news. Sign him up, Beadle!

It seems to be an automatic reaction from some people: see ex-player released and (without any thought whatsoever) scream "sign him up." Never mind whether we (a) need him; (b) can afford him; or (c) can be even vaguely attractive as an option for him.

We´ve signed Purdie, James and Edwards who have played for us earlier. So why not Quilks?

There's no hope for some. And I'm not talking about the OP. Or James McQuilkin.

jeez, there's some Fecking thickos on here! We should sign wee jimmy because he's a popular ex-Bull who knows how to play decent football, keeps it on the ground and will create chances and has experience as high as league 1. If you're happy with Beadle's kids hoofing the ball as far as they can, fine, but when there's a cultured player avaialbe on our doorstep, why not give him an opportunity?

Sometime soon I hope Jimmy gets a decent break. I get the feeling that if it wasn't for bad luck he wouldn't have any luck at all. Certainly deserves better.

Complete waste of time at every club he's been to. With his lack of strength he's the opposite of what we need in this league.

A small vocal part of our support thought they knew better when we had him.
His career has proved they were wrong.
