A heavy pitch will strongly disadvantage Westfields who have had a tough match just 48 hours ago whilst our famous stars were at the hairdressers.

Is it still raining in Hereford? How does Westfields drain as its pissing down here, we're leaving at 11.00 and would not want to make a wasted trip.

Forecast is for the rain to clear Hereford within the next hour or so.

Still have not got the hang of this - going to Hereford for an away game.
All the best. Lets get this season going.

Anyone else wondering how can you take your young child to the game and ask them to possibly stand in the pouring rain for around two and a half hours, having to get to the ground early as they won't be able to see anything unless they get to the front ?.

I'm in the exactly the same boat. That's the very nature of this MFL beast I'm afraid.

Agreed, we couldn't have any complaints about the surface. It was my first time at Westfields and I was impressed with the set-up.

The 18 yard-line at the Sun Valley End (Hiya "Sausage") must be 3 feet higher than the goal-line. Lots of shots struck from there go over the bar.
