He plays for Stourport but where does he live? That's often a factor, especially for 2 training trips in the week. Kidderminster according to his twitter

Yep - Chelskie in the cup. Away. 3pm ko. See you down the Jam Tree. Alternatively, see you at Westfields on Monday. Ooops! The Jam Tree is great

HFC will need to look elsewhere as Jamie staying put. He feels Stourport have a higher chance of promotion plus he is settled and happy with the captaincy. HFC are not a draw to most as they are aware of the dysfunction that exists between fans and boardroom.

Here's the thing. In terms of potential, there's no other club in the league that can match ours. Simple truth. Ground-wise, no-one else can probably get above Step 4. No one else is ever going to get attendances that can match ours. Would be a shame if any player turned us down to stay at another team in this league as the best they could achieve is may a season or two at Step 4...

And most of the couple of thousand who attended the last home game , I suspect...

Who would object to the Stourport lad being offered the Hereford captaincy? Not like we've got a leader on the field, is it?

Given the fact it's now well over the 7 days and he is playing today I don't think he will be arriving anytime soon, time to look elsewhere I feel.

I'd wager if you're playing at this level enjoying your football is a lot more important than reaching a couple of divisions higher unless you want to be able to tell the grandchildren about that season you spent playing the likes of Frome Town (no offence) in the Southern League.
