Once a squad is established and the season is under way fans like to keep an eye on all the players and enjoy arguing about relative merits.
It always used to bug me, especially under Foyle, that players would disappear for no apparent reason. Might be injury, might be naughty step but there were no updates.
So could we ask for regular updates on those not appearing on match day? At the moment - what's happened to Haines, Miller and Max K-C? I know Max is on holiday but what resort is he at and will others be joining him at some point? Also could we get to hear the fate of Josh Emery's big toe?
I think we should be told
Apologies if this was all in Tuesday's programme but I got there at 7.30 and they were sold out.

Only 4 subs on Tuesday so maybe they are all on holiday?! Then again apparently the performance did not merit the use of any subs anyway.

Heard Tuesday evening that Emerys gone. Not heard anything about anyone else tho.

Yes, unfortunately it looks like Josh Emery is no longer involved at HFC. Great shame.
I was reminded that the reason Foyle once gave for the lack of information on our players was that it would gave opposing managers a competitive advantage.
I do hope that PB isn't similarly deluded.

I wonder if you have to pay players if they sit on the bench? I have no idea who is on a contract and who might be on non-contract terms or, indeed, exactly what non-contract means.

I know that Will Haines was carrying a bit of a knock just before the season started. Maybe it's flared up again since?
I know the guys that are at Hartbury are asked to train and play a considerable amount when you combine their commitments to the college and HFC (Up to three games a week plus training for both teams alongside studies). It would only be natural for a few injuries to crop up as a result I guess.

They all made it onto the back of the programme the other night which suggests they haven't been released.
