Some people have short memories. DLW had a nightmare in debut against Chester. The following Saturday at Southport the away fans got right behind him and he had a blinder. I saw Harvey at Westfields and he is a decent keeper. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to give him some encouragement as well?

OK so let's try Edwards protecting Rivers. Saggy, I agree with the spirit behind your efforts. As long as you know that thousands of paying customers are entitled to their view and won't stay silent if they're frustrated.

Oldmeadowender, as I said in my other post, I completely respect all your views and posts and I have no issues with any of them, you are a full paying customer like me so have as much as a right as I do to voice your opinion. All I'm doing is just trying to spread encouragement, you don't have to agree with it, but all o ask is of you place yourself in his shoes right now and read all these fantastic positive comments on the Facebook thread how amazing that would make you feel. Our job is to make our lads feel 10 feet tall and I will do all I can to make that happen.

Our job is to make our lads feel 10 feet tall and I will do all I can to make that happen. I am not against that. If he does his bit, I'm sure people will do their bit. For example I cheered a Nathan Summers header from the Meadow End (no one else did) after he had had a terrible game against Dunkirk, and he finally did something good. A few seconds later and that header had led to a goal for us. Little things get the support back on side. But it has to be generated from the players. We will pick up on little good things and applaud them...at least I will. But they have to show the spirit that we admire. It's a two-way street.

I completely agree with you oldmeadowender you are right about that absolutely. It's just sometimes when you've made a few mistakes it can make you more tense and unconfident and can put you in a bit of a shell, if the lad gets the Meadow End roar and support, you know the sort of 'hair on neck' raising stuff then I believe he will feel incredible. But yes k I completely agree with your point.

The lad may not be the whole problem but he is part of the problem and that should not be sugar coated. He needs to work much better with the rest of the defence. Hopefully he knows that already without the need for this slightly embarrassing campaign you feel the need to champion.

But yes k I completely agree with your point. Tell him to build on the simple things. It will build his confidence. People should applaud the positive things he does. Any footballer who makes a mistake, where do you go? Where can you go? Only one place. Back to basics. Start building again. One simple good thing. Another simple good thing. You build. Then you think you can do better things. Step by step. Tell him to communicate better with Jamer. Jamer is meant to have the experience to help, to lead. Hope he turns it round.

Hendre that's a bit negative don't you think? I've worked hard all day to get encouragement for the lad to be given a comment like that is a bit of a kick in the teeth like. But hey ho, we are all entitled to our opinion. Embarrassing? Have you read through all the comments on there? I'm proud as hell what's been created. Fan club? Yes we are fans of this player who plays for this club. I'm going to do my best to support the lad as much as I can

That opposition physio is probably a better keeper, and she is just a girl.
I think that should offend anyone still awake.

Which is why I came over here to avoid them but you beat me to it! I'm sorry that you view my negativity as a kick in the teeth but as you said, its all about opinions. I don't view the role of a supporter to be one of a loving fan. You've got that very wrong. I support our CLUB and want it to achieve. For that to happen we cannot afford any weak links. Harvey needs to get better and quickly. But as I said before, the lad probably knows that already.

How do you feel about One Direction splitting up Saggybulls?
And leave Hendrie alone. He's way past meds time.
