Assuming nobody new will be brought in before... Westfields XI? Summers and KC are available again too according to Beadle and Worcester have Hednesford at home on Monday so I assume DLW will be preoccupied.

Good if KC is back to replace Gwynne. That man had so much space down the right hand side in the second half yet never once took on their full back but just played his favourite square pass. Ex pro sat near us said his 10 year old could do that! Gwynne also adds to our problem with lack of height in defensive situations.

Just as a matter of interest, why has KC been unavailable? I read somewhere he was on holiday but assumed it was a joke. Surely, we cant be that tinpot?

A young lad like that will be earning peanuts and his parents probably booked this holiday months before the club even existed let alone signed him.

Fair enough but for a young lad looking to make a career in football, August holidays look a bit strange to me. Lets hope Mills isn't going on a World Cruise any time soon.

Re: Mondays team, don't change anything in midfield or up front, we looked class.
At the back its a tough one. Whilst Gwynne didnt beat his man i thought he was tenacious and smashed into a few tackles, to be honest I don't think we need him to go beating his man, we've got atleast 5 players who can do that anyway. Would keep him there and obviously Joel at LB, both playing against their former club so should be keen to prove a point. The question really is who starts at CB. Summers must surely return, but in place of whom? James will be suspended for the following game anyway, so is it worth dropping him and giving Oates another start? Ideally we will sign a Matt Redmile style centre back in the mean time but otherwise what does PB do? Certainly can't see the cb partnership remaining unchanged.

If Gwynne doesn't play in what is likely to be a fiercely contested, physical battle with Westfields on Monday then I'll be amazed. He is exactly what we need for that kind of game.
Also, why knock the 'square pass'? If Sam has a player like Purdie, Page or Pablo free inside him and able to take the ball forward it makes it the absolute obvious choice for him to play the ball inside.
