Rivers has potential but he need competition to push him on and may benefit from an experienced keeper to support and coach him
Gwynne was at fault for 2 of Coleshill's goals Oats needs more time TJ has seemed to struggled at times in the last couple of matches, can he play week in? Does he need cover? Edwards has been very consistent and been one of the positives most weeks
Birch looks a good player but can't seem to get game time Summers has a lot of potential Dylan and Max are growing
Overall the defence needs improving, we need a player who is willing to command and control the defence
Page has potential and can create stuff, liked up well with Joel Purdie has been like a rollercoaster with up and down during games but overall has been average
Birch looks a good player but can't seem to get game time Lee was poor against Rocester Wheatley has a lot to offer but he gets lazy and doesn't fight for the ball back when he looses it Miller has potential
Mills and Pablo are working hard but aren't getting the service they want Hughes is improving the more he plays And growing in confidence
Beadle needs learn from each game, he appears to not change tactics despite it not working when we just lump it forward More training on passing, defending and positioning is required Overall the defence and midfield needs improving We seem to be loosing the midfield and this is why Pablo has to drop back at times and is unable to then support Mills. We need a player bossing the midfield We need a player who is willing to command and control the defence The squad needs improving and stregthening. In last couple games we have been struggling and you look at bench and think who can change the games? Maybe that was proven tonight when Beadle didn't make any subs.
Beadle needs to have a think, start motivating the players, fix the obvious problems and improve

It's a pub league mate. And the board can't even be arsed to pay for a promotion. 1400 season ticket holders and we can't afford a promotion out of a regional league.?
What are they saving the money for them?

Whichever way you look at it we've got to stop leaking goals, to concede 8 in the last 2 games is just not acceptable.

I think 'it couldn't get any worse' is harsh. We could have lost five nil! But in fact we battered them for large periods and in the end were desperately unlucky to not get a draw. Yes conceding five is inexcusable but personally I'm confident that 90% of the very decent turn out tonight will be keen to go again. Bizarre game of football but entertainment wise for eight quid that was better value for money by a long way than we've had in many years. We need to cut the mistakes out and it's unacceptable to concede five but let's face it if we cut the mistakes out we are miles better than sides like that. If we were loosing one or two nil and not creating anything then I would be despondent but I don't think I've been more positive about a loss for a long time. Probably a few who are understandably angry but the average supporter tonight will be glad to pay and watch that side again, just sort the awful defence out. Agree, it was brilliant entertainment, even if it was a bit school playground stuff at times. Well worth the money. Pantomime villains. Loads of goals (most I've seen in a Hereford game I think). Good £8. Mention for the Coleshill number 2's long throw. I don't think I've seen a longer throw in football, was quite a weapon. Caused at least one of the goals. There was one where he launched it into the box from the half way line. Remarkable.

Great entertainment for the 'sustainable' club and its coffers. Great for the kids on school holidays. But ambitions of returning to professional football, not on that showing. The fans favourites can't hack it anymore I'm afraid. The youngsters aren't quite there. And the opposition is crap and don't want to/ can't play. Pantomime season has come early but professional football Early questions posed for PB but the standard is so poor we will win this league by 8 points. You heard it here first.

I'm sorry but I completely disagree with some things I have read. Yes I am so happy and proud of the hard work everyone has done to get our club back and I can't thank everyone enough for everything they have done and it has made me appreciate this fantastic club so much and I really admire the positive comments and believe a lot of them are true, but I struggle to understand why some people do not see promotion as a minimum expectation this season and lack some serious ambition? For Goodness sake we have crowds higher than some League one clubs and we are in the 9th tier of English football, frankly I believe we have been embarrassing this season. We have players that have played in League 1, Tony James has played for Wales, we have Pablo and Mills from the League above who have scored a scary amount of goals, we have so many players that would be willing to have the opportunity to die For our fans, are people genuinely being serious that this year should be a consolidation year!?! I'm sorry but from a business point of view it would be devastating to stay in this league another season and we will lose so much momentum that has been hard worked for.
I also don't that the b**ls#^t of we need time to gel. Isn't that what pre-season is for? And by my understanding we actually had a decent one. Also I'm pretty sure I'm our league 2 promotion season we only had 6 contracted players at the beginning of the year who never played together? And also the fact is we have so many players in this team who have actually played together!!! Purdie, Joel, Max CK, Jammo etc. so don't give me that drivel. Beadle has terrible tactical awareness and another decent manager would have us top of the league I really believe that we have a really good group of lads but some of the things people are saying are just ridicous and lack serious ambition! I read someone believes it would take us 3-5 years to get out of this league!? Are they being genuinely serious. Good grief absolute joke.

I agree with a lot of this, except for the bit where jammo turned out for HUFC. I definitely missed that match...

Just a short tale to demonstrate how entertaining is not an exact science:
Last night, I took my daughter and her boyfriend to Edgar Street for the first time. I so wanted Hereford to win and impress them.
We returned to the car after the game. I was fed up. frustrated and embarassed with the result.
They both said that they really enjoyed the match, (more than the Villa v. Man U game that they attended last week), and they both want to come again! There are two sides to every story.

Perhaps they are avoiding being together alone? Don't mean to be insensitive, but relationships under strain welcome any bloody diversion! (I should know!)

We do need to be winning, no matter how 'entertaining' our games are. We need to have ambition to get back up the leagues. Most of the clubs we will play this season are just trying to get as high as they can in the finishing order, they have no real ambition to become a football league side, they have no real support base, their grounds are mostly not conducive to developing into even a Conference stadium, and their players are all happy turning out for matches and doing a 'proper' job the next day. We are an anomaly, we DO want(and need) to get back, our ground is up to scratch, our fanbase is relatively massive, our infrastructure is a business model, and at the moment we do not belong in this league. If that upsets HFCBanter, tough. The danger for us is the 5 year lease, because, heaven forbid we are still in the lower reaches by then, with gates at a dangerously low level, then we WILL lose ES, we WILL be shifted to an out of town 'stadium' and we will have turned into a Midland league club forever. So the team needs to be sorted out bloody rapid, sod entertainment for now, get players in NOW who can cope with the pitches, the pressure, and most importantly the 'interesting' playing techniques in this division. NOW, please-not in a couple of months or so when it's too late for this season. COYB!

Have to win something like 7 out of the next 10 to stay remotely in touch of top spot, I would suggest? And, just as importantly, to keep any semblance of the size of crowd which will enable strengthening. Must gain that kind of momentum immediately. No excuses.
Sorry, not interested in sustainability or ticketless turnstiles or the bars. £1.80 a pint in the Barrels, £2.40 in the Keys.
