Right well following on from tonight we can all see that the "defence" and our "Keeper" are incredibly BS however there were many positives!!
I thought Sam Gwynne was brilliant getting up and down the right hand side all night and putting in some crunching tackles. He will be an absolute asset to the squad this season however i would probably stick him into CM when Max KC returns to give us that bite in the middle of the park.
Dylan, apart from giving away the ball for the 5th goal, was good in the middle of the park and played some neat and tidy balls especially the ball to set up the second goal was quality!
Our three up top is arguably up there with the best in this league and possibly the league above!! They will be the difference this season provided we can sort out this defence!
Lots of positives just to put a different perspective onto things.

Well that is certainly a very brave analysis at this point of the evening!

Max KC was our best player in the two losses personally so need him back ASAP. Page, Mills, Pablo and unsung hero (not hero but you get the gist) Nathan Hughes combine well as a four and Hughes and Page are willing workers who can fill in, in the midfield. Width is needed and defensively we need some new centre backs.

well the positives are it cant get worse! tbf i do think our midfield and forward line are more than good enough for higher divisions and can play and score easily, i think our fullbacks arent bad either the shocking part of our team is keeper and central defenders . goal a game for our forward players very impressed

Page showed a good desire to keep working at 3-5 down when all those around him looked dejected. Had a couple of good efforts to level the game late on too.
Gwynne doesn't even get given a gun in the Marines as it's as redundant as a Day 5 Ashes ticket - he could single handedly tackle ISIS into submission if we didn't need him in our team.
Front 3 will score bags of goals at this level. Played against a team today with 9 defenders for the majority of the game and still managed to score a few.
Purdie produced a 9.6 in the penalty area to technically assist his own goal through a duck-billed pike with a twist or something.

I think 'it couldn't get any worse' is harsh. We could have lost five nil! But in fact we battered them for large periods and in the end were desperately unlucky to not get a draw. Yes conceding five is inexcusable but personally I'm confident that 90% of the very decent turn out tonight will be keen to go again. Bizarre game of football but entertainment wise for eight quid that was better value for money by a long way than we've had in many years. We need to cut the mistakes out and it's unacceptable to concede five but let's face it if we cut the mistakes out we are miles better than sides like that. If we were loosing one or two nil and not creating anything then I would be despondent but I don't think I've been more positive about a loss for a long time.
Probably a few who are understandably angry but the average supporter tonight will be glad to pay and watch that side again, just sort the awful defence out.

You're in cloud cuckoo land if you really are positive after that! It's a results based industry and if we had a home game Saturday we'd lose 650 off the gate!

Actually I enjoyed some of our forwArd movement, passing and build up and some well worked goals. That was encouraging and I think scoring 8 goals at home in 2 games is a strong indication of what we can do. What we can't do is keep a clean sheet, some central defence beef is needed and a strong defensive midfielder to boost the spine of the team. The GK can stop shots but I'm sorry he doesn't fill me with the greatest confidence yet. Beadle will get this team purring like a V12 , I just hope it has the power to pull us up the league later in the season when it is run in.

I'm not sure we would lose that many of the gate, it is a results industry but at least there were plenty of goals all be it mainly in the wrong net.
I thought the biggest positive tonight was the fact they were much more knackered than us for the last 15min, shame we couldn't use that advantage to improve our goal difference rather than trying to save the game.

I think some perspective is needed. We scored 4 goals against Coleshill which when you consider have their own international airport is some achievement.

We weren't unlucky not to get a draw, we deserved to lose with defending like that. Sticking to the thread, the positive is Mills & Pablo will score 50 goals or more between them this season. Were you there?

We gifted them 5 goals but created about twenty chances, scored four ourselves and had some desperately bad luck on atleast 3 occasions not to score.
Yes it's a results industry but ultimately positive results lead to promotion and a higher league. So by definition the fact that we have dropped 6 divisions in 6 years should mean we are now getting gates of about 300. The supporters have voted with their feet and kept coming so after a hugely entertaining performance for almost half the price that it was five years ago I don't see many of them going 'oh well it was entertaining but they lost so I'm not going again'. If that was the attitude they wouldn't have turned up in the first place tonight.

Yes we lost but that was one of the most entertaining games i can remember at the street in a long time. I would pay £8 every week to watch a 9 goal games like that so the fact we lost wont deter me. Yes i would have preferred a HFC victory but we are playing good football, scoring goals and the crowd were very vocal! thoroughly enjoyed it!

We have some players who are comfortable on the ball.I haven't been able to say that about most players over the last five or six years. A lot of them have good technique.I definitely want to watch players who try to play football the right way,we may just need about three older heads who still play football the right way to help them on their way.

We are a decent side, we need to address weaknesses at the back and fast. We needed encouragement and more direction from the bench 2nd half, disappointed and slightly concerned beadle looked rather despondent. 5 goals conceded to a team that looked very ordinary. A few tweeks is all we need... and another decent centre half to play along side tony james

At the end of the day would you rather pay £14 in league 2 to watch us loose 1 0 or pay 8 quid to see that tonight? I would much rather have the problem of needing to sort the defence out than have the problem of defending very well but creating nothing and loosing 1 nil. That is a much harder problem to correct and will see far more people decide against coming back.
The Coleshill manager summed it up well - ""I don't think since the Loughborough team I saw three years ago where most of them are pro now, have I seen a team bang the ball around and just drive us crazy."
