Sam played a great game tonight apart from that one massively frustrating repetitive checking back. He is better than that for gods sake.

Nothing wrong with Gwynne. Put some great challenges in and kept the ball well. Much worse on the pitch than him tonight.

It's not Gwynne's fault he is definitely good enough for this league or even higher, the problem is the others around him

Get gwyne in the middle and not at right back. Might not be popular but purds is the man for right back. He can defend and organise.

We need a Janos Kovacs type at the back to be able to deal with all these long balls into the box every time one came in we were never getting to them. Going forward we were good and I thought Hughes was good. To be fair I thought Purds had a good game but maybe having him at right back would help the defense.

I may be wrong, but Sam appears to be a LEFT footed player. Is that right?
Sorry, edited!

I may be wrong, but Sam appears to be a right footed player. Is that right? More than capable of taking players on but kept playing back inside... Very frustrating.... he's a decent player
