But it certainly wasn't the apparent leaks !!!!!! I know its still early in the season but I fear for the longevity of the club and fabulous support if this carries on. COYB

No. I didn't get there tonight, but I did buy a ST, and I would, seriously like to know what the hell 1400 ST holder's money has been spent on. This is the best defence we can put out??

The players have to be seen playing to know what they are like, things don't happen overnight, obviously now Beads knows something will need to be done defensively so we'll see what happens. You weren't one of the ones who thought we'd walk the league were you! |

On the contrary, I expressed concerns about our defensive frailty after the Brimscombe PSF, and again after the Dunkirk game, both of which I attended. You're right, that things don't happen overnight, but the B & T match was 4 weeks ago, and, between then and now, Matt Bishop & PB have STILL NOT got the message across to these guys. OK, Summers wasn't there last night, but with our squad size, we should have been able to cover for him, and Beads gave the impression, prior to the match, that that was the case. What we seem to be lacking is a voice of authority ON the pitch, who can stop our defenders roaming out of position, and ensure that they keep their shape all through the game. |

not really sure the defenders are out of position, they are just making the wrong decisions in vital areas.

Both centre backs last night were poor, very poor, we also have no leader, simple as that Joel says sod all during the games, and Rivers seems to blame everyone else, he just isnt good enough and has to be replaced, he may be an ok shot stopper but he has no presence, no command of the box, never comes out when he should and can't kick a ball straight, one of the worst we have had in my opinion and I have been to every pre season game and every game so far this season
