Is ours in danger? Pouring down near Monmouth currently.

Me too.
It's quite common.

It looks like the Alvechurch game is going to be postponed. Highgate have tweeted this morning that it's looking "highly unlikely" that the game will go ahead. Apparently there's puddles in both goal mouths.

Apparently there's puddles in both goal mouths. Am I right in thinking that if we manage to get our two games on today and Monday we will go 5 games ahead of Alvechurch? Get two wins please, putting us 12 points ahead and let's see if Alvechurch have got a good set of danglers.

Apparently there's puddles in both goal mouths. Had a look through their Twitter feed earlier and it seems they haven't had a game since 1st December because of waterlogged pitches (mainly their own).

Looks like they'll be playing home games both afternoon and evening mid week come Thursdays in April.

Our own pitch is looking good and the game is on! Cheers to Ben Bowen.

James Baldwin has joined Westfields from Stourport Swifts. Not 100% if he's playing today or not. He was the other one that was highly rated when we played them away wasn't he?

I'm surprised Highgate's pitch is causing so many problems. When we visited in August the playing surface was better than Centre Court. I guess it must look good on the surface but have awful drainage...like the worst type of hooker! I'm told.

7-1 to Hereford. 4,701. The new Westfields signing. James Baldwin, is presumably the mystery player mentioned in the Sean Edwards article. He's already played against us twice already this season, for Stourport Swifts and recently for Lye Town. He was the player who dived in the Stourport match to "win" their penalty and get a Hereford player sent off. After moving from Stourport to Lye because he was offered more money, it seems strange that despite all Sean Edwards' points about Westfields not paying their players much that he should now be moving to Allpay Park.

It seems like he's trying his best to get noticed by us and end up playing at Edgar Street for HFC. I wonder which opposition team we'll see him auditioning at, sorry playing for next?

If what I saw on here is correct they were happy to pay players big money to play in the August Bank Holiday match against us so I wouldn't be surprised if they have done it again here and he leaves next week.
Hopefully we'll still win 4-1 win in front of 4,814.

Apart from Coventry Sphinx, whose game today has been postponed, we are the only Midland Premier team playing twice this holiday period. Therefore any other postponements today could be accommodated on Monday.

I think you are referring to the Polymac Packaging League cup tie where the Midland League, in their infinite wisdom, rule that the home team keeps all the money. In League matches the home team rightly keeps all the match proceeds (around £17,000 in the case of the August Bank Holiday match at Westfields, I believe.)
