10 years today since Aldershot (and 16 since Brentford).
There seems to be minimal footage of Aldershot left online, has anyone got any?

Excellent flagging them both up. After a childhood which seemed about 73 consecutive seasons in Division 4 long, once we broke the seal it hasn't been dull has it?

Both days were, and remain, great occasions.

I have great memories of both days too. At Brentford with my mate Allan, who lived nearby, and was impressed by our fans turnout and our performance on the pitch. Aldershot was something else, just pure relief, but also remember how low DK seemed even as the club had secured its position in the league. Of course we learned why very soon afterwards. One standout of that day was the young lad we had playing a blinder up front - Bowen IIRC; wonder what became of him…………

If only he had been under contract.

My first recollection of Aldershot is always the painful play off defeat.

My first recollection of Aldershot is always the painful play off defeat. and me Tretton getting sent off in front of Len Weston stand....also when we beat them 4.3 with David Brown last minute goal from a free kick.

What a game, wasn’t that on a Friday early in the season? One of the first times I believed. I was in the Len Weston terrace in the play offs, sad to say some horrible racist abuse thrown out the day.

Regardless of racist abuse, McLean was a horrid little sh!t.
