Can't even watch it on the telly-box nowadays. It makes my p!ss boil when the crowd cheer wildly for a mis-hit shot; just cheer a winning stroke and give polite or subued applause for the person who gains from a mis-hit. Don't get me started on the ignorant tw*ts popping champagne corks as a player is serving. That is why I lost my umpiring job. For me, it was eating a Parmo whilst swigging a Newcastle Brown, at the same time as announcing the score. Unbelievably, I was considered too uncouth for SW 19.

To be fair, it wasn't all your fault given it was the line judge who opened the bottle. Where you went wrong, was upon realising it was MT, you asked him if he had a spare glass. At which point he grabbed the racquet off Federer, threw it at you with a torrent of abuse about you never bought a drink in the bar before the match on No1 court.

Svitolina-Azarenka was an extraordinary match. It certainly didn't need to be shoehorned into some sort of morality play or Russia-Ukraine grudge match. The booing of Azarenka at the end of the game was an absolute disgrace. It said more about the intelligence of the Wimbledon crowd than anything else. My feelings on Wimbledon are similar to my feelings on Glastonbury. I absolutely love it on the tele but I'm glad I don't have to go. Can't even watch it on the telly-box nowadays. Tennis is quite an enjoyable game to play but not so enthralling to watch I find. Obviously many examples where this is not true but, in general, it's more of a timewaster than an late 80s Test Match on the Beeb.
Who could not muster up any coverage of the under 21s football on their sporting platforms whatsoever.
And yet their shite "we will be all across..." mantra is still repeated on daily basis.
England actually won something. Yet the semi-final was ignored in favour of first week Wimbledon tedium.
