1) When doubles are discussing the next serve for 5 minutes, why do they hold their nose. Is it a covid rule in tennis? 2) Is it appropriate to fist pump/high 5 or whatever, your partner after every point, even when you've just easily lost the last point? 3) Will Boris be rushing to the courts to play like everyone else does whilst Wimbles is on, now that he has more time on his hands?

Went to Eastbourne last week; very genteel. Oh I say what a dream of a shot, Ms Wade. Didn't see or hear Navratilova. Not even in Wetherspoons. £2.68 for Old Hooky.

Looking forward to the arrival of the protesters. Mr Murray gone up in my estimation if he or others follow through with his comment "they have to be a bit careful going near to tennis players who obviously have got rackets in their hands" Good job Bairstow wasn't batting at the time they disturbed the test match, those ungentlemanly aussies would have claimed a run out. He should have grabbed a bat at the time anyway, its of no use to Warner.

Like most of these type of protests, I think the people doing it should probably have a rethink on their approach.
It clearly pisses off a lot of people and doesn't seem to be getting any kind of message across so maybe they should all get together and think about doing something which will amaze people into compliance rather than annoy them into it.
All rather predictable stuff from the human race.

Why has a match suddenly become a fecking "match-up?"

Why has a match suddenly become a fecking "match-up?" Perhaps for the same reason a p*ss became a "p*ss-up"? 😂

"Rain stop play" on the outside courts, again. So, back to my jigsaw puzzle, but seem to have a few pieces missing.

Ahem. Now is your moment. Apply the same logic to the term "f*ck up". And please, no reliance on the perceived danger of domestic strife. 😉

And please, no reliance on the perceived danger of domestic strife. 😉 Well, obviously, when I've been in our downstairs heads and had a sideways event it's a "F*ck up". When my responsible adult goes in there a bit later there is often an angry remark heard that sounds something like, "Oh, f*ck me sideways." I've always felt that it was never quite the right moment to try.

Stan Wawrinka looks about 50. He looks like he stands in pub doorways smoking roleys.

Svitolina-Azarenka was an extraordinary match. It certainly didn't need to be shoehorned into some sort of morality play or Russia-Ukraine grudge match. The booing of Azarenka at the end of the game was an absolute disgrace. It said more about the intelligence of the Wimbledon crowd than anything else.
My feelings on Wimbledon are similar to my feelings on Glastonbury. I absolutely love it on the tele but I'm glad I don't have to go.

Apparently they get on anyway. She did nothing wrong apart from playing at the tennis equivalent of the last session in cricket when everyone is pissed?

It makes my p!ss boil when the crowd cheer wildly for a mis-hit shot; just cheer a winning stroke and give polite or subued applause for the person who gains from a mis-hit. Don't get me started on the ignorant tw*ts popping champagne corks as a player is serving.
