That name-drop probably accounts for the earthquakes in Iceland this morning. I expect he'll be tempted when he's talking to Oprah.

Harry’s problem was that he left the army too soon. He’s not the brightest and he’s been swept along by a beguiling American beauty and left behind any of his army mates who might have saved him from himself. Gets all he deserves now.

Or that the American beauty has in fact saved him from his ghastly family? I don’t know. But neither do you.

I'm still rather 'meh' about the Royal Family, but the nation has to have a figurehead and the only alternative would be an elected President.
Could we risk the British political parties choosing suitable candidates for that office, when you see what choices they give us for PM?
Or do we change our whole political process and end up voting for the person who has most big business behind then, and who spends the most on their presidential campaign, a la USA?
Either way, we could end up with a Johnson/Trump type dream team.

First off, I'd get rid of the lot in an instant. Not literally of course, just pension them off and use some of the spare money to fund the NHS (1% pay rise FFS!) As for Harry and Meghan, for a couple who want to be left in peace, they do seem to like the sound of their own voices. My guess is that Harry would have liked to have been at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, rather than exiled in some Californian mansion, in a culture alien to him, with no mates around him. I do hope Meghan is worth it. My suspicion is that she is not. If pushed, I'm rather inclined to believe the Palace staff.
Thinking about it, he might not have wanted to be at the Millennium after all.

I mentioned previously that I thought he has been beguiled and that there are remarkable similarities between his situation and that of his great-granduncle* Edward VIII. Has he been gullible? He certainly isn't the first young bloke to have his head turned by a good-looking woman. I hope he doesn't live to regret his actions but I fear he may well end up being a very unhappy former "Senior Royal". I tend to agree, he should get all that he deserves now. The bridges seem to have been burnt. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51567105*No, I hadn't heard of that one previously either.

He should have had that DNA test years ago.

Their whole cost is pretty much funded by the rents the Crown Estate receives on Regent Street, so good value overall as HoS.

Plus they own the Water Works and the Electricity Company, and two of the stations.

Starts an investigation into allegations about bullying involving Megan Markle 3 years after they were first reported, a few days before her potentially explosive interview. Doesn't start an investigation into Prince Andrew being accused of sex offences years after they were first reported. It's not just the government and some sections of the right wing media that this country would be better off without. What Mike says............ A little (hot) actress is a bit of a bully (alleged). Boo hoo. Prince "Randy" Andy, sexual predator (alleged) against young women, (vulnerable due to age). Needs to face the beak, if guilty, locking up. Pervert! No contest. I may call Piers Morgan to highlight this on Monday morning. Fecking bellend.

I like the Royal Family because when I was a little kid the silver jubilee street party was on my birthday which in my head was my street party.
Also I came second in the fancy dress competition. Now I have never won anything in my life but you have got to be happy with a podium place. This pinnacle of my life was made all the sweeter by my brother throwing a massive wobbler and storming off just before the judging - missing out on the commemorative mug. I can't remember why but I would like to think I was the cause.
He got his own back though, quickly turning his back on HUFC.

My dad wasn't even a gambler but quite good at art. We had playing cards front and back like the end is nigh mob, plus a crown. Thinking about it is a double act show of force we would have probably cleaned up, but I am happy to have missed my one shot at a gold medal if it blighted my brother's life.
