If we let the drum in, where will it end, Paloma Faith having a sing along?

I'm an old git but I say yes to the drum though I would prefer that klaxon sound that the German national team fans played in the 1970s as their team rolled forward.

What, so we women are only there for you men to ogle? Your post is typical of the misogynistic androcentrism that pervades both this forum and society as a whole.

I think the criteria that need to be examined when considering a drum are: A) is Jonny in attendance?B) will it drown out the genuine, organic match day atmos? If either answer is "yes", then sorry, no drum. Here is a short clip of the drum at Walsall Wood: youtu.be/Ih9RfdDQa7A?t=2m29sIf that drowns out the Meadow End it says more about the majority of our fans than it does about the drum itself. Equally if you watch the rest of the highlights, it's not heard at all. Sounds like someone banging a biscuit tin with a wooden spoon

The thing is...the current little drum has an injury from it's last outing for Hereford, so it's very doubtful it will make the game on Saturday. You see... this little drum, not only goes to Hereford games but Lydney and Whitecroft too (they love him by the way) it even turns out now and then to support Pooch the boxer. However, all's not lost, as it currently lives with a Ukulele, that can make it on Saturday.

It took me 15 minutes to watch this clip. I kept getting up to answer the bloody door, each time there was nobody there. Mystifying!

The Stone Roses invented flares during the very much post 1980 "Madchester" REVOLUTION, didn't they?

Because that evokes so many happy memories of the 1970 World Cup defeat to Germany after we were 2-0 up. Good one. Some of us were in tears that day for a very long time. Or am I talking to another Welshman?

Yes from me as we need to get an atmosphere. The atmosphere hasn't exactly been the best for the crowd that we've had.
