Just arrived, thankfully by car, I don't do rail replacement buses. Greeted by torrential rain. Can't be on?

A much more balanced game today. Rooney made a massive difference in the first half before he inevitably ran out of steam. Ceesay and Robinson both benefitted from playing in a shape that suited them. Two of the subs that made sense (Williams and Tilt), didn't have the desired effect. Campbell going off (without knowing the circumstances, and not having listened to the post match interviews) meant we lost a player that looked like he could unlock the game.
Hereford deserved a win, but this probably balances out one we have pinched earlier in the season.
Was lucky enough to go into the hospitality. Dudley Tyler - wow. The most amazing speech you could ever wish to witness. What a man, and what a player he must have been for those of you who were lucky enough to have seen him?

What was the attendance? I missed out as it was deposit daughter (and a fortune worth of life accesories) at university day today.
We are lucky to have Paul Caddis. Win, lose or draw we haven't had such a charismatic manager since Sillet in the 70's.

Campbell was on a yellow and one more tackle away from a second with the dodgy ref who got surrounded by about 5 kings Lynn players every time Campbell made a challenge, so it was right to take him off, but what a class act he is.

A mildly impressive 2490 with a surprisingly low 25 away fans* *although much credit to every one of them it must have been a foul journey, is miles, and they must have doubted the game would be on** **the pitch was just playable. Pools of water. Think Leicester Nirvana about 8 years ago. If it had rained during the game it would have possibly been abandoned. Quite a good game given that though. If that was your first offspring dispatching mission, the emotion you felt, that was what Dudley Tyler filled the grub room with. Grown men turned to black and white jelly. What a man!

Aye aye aye aye tylers better than pele. it was always a pleasure to watch him. Take a look at the Newcastle game to see how to run at a defence.

3 wins from 9 games now, a win ratio of just 33%. Caddis needs to stop making excuses and start finding solutions, our current run of form simply isn't good enough.

I wondered what was going on when I walked past the posh people's bit on the way to Radfordses at 2.15. I thought that perhaps there was an Elvis impersonator in there or something. Seriously though, this history needs to be kept alive as long as it possibly can. I can't realistically see this sort of occasion being replicated 50 years hence at any club going forward such is the nonsence of football today. Fair play to Mr Tyler and Hereford FC. Good game, mind. For once I didn't miss the start of the match due to still having cider in my pastic recepticle. I missed it because I misjudged the times of the ferry.

Maybe but whichever way you look at it we're underachieving for a club of our size. For the fourth season in a row.

Listen, idiots.
Dudley is a class act.
Chapman 7; Robinson 7, Preston 8, Howkins 7, Hudson 6; Matwasa 5, Campbell 9, D'Ath 6.5, Ceesay 7.5; Rose 7, Rooney 7.
The reversion to 4 at the back meant that we weren't overrun by opponents who couldn't believe their luck. This was a fourth consecutive home match without victory but a very good performance. Didn't quite happen at the top end; no opportunities for Kings Lynn, however, at the other end.
Tate Campbell was booked after 6 minutes and 27 seconds - ridiculously. He is a Rolls Royce of a player at this level.
The match kicked off, inexplicably, at 4 minutes past 3. What IS that all about?
The above are your definitive marks. All right, Caddis? Better.

So you’re the reason none of the referees kick off on time they’re waiting for you! 🙄

Can’t really argue with any of that apart from maybe giving Rooney an 8. His link up play was really good and desperately unlucky not to score. For a 0-0 draw I really enjoyed today.

A decent bench today considering we were down to the bones.
