And their goal keeps Hereford's goal difference in negative territory at -1. Indeed. I know it's churlish to moan after a 4-1 win but why do teams who go in at the break 4-0 up always ease off in the second half instead of keeping up the pressure and going on to win 7 or 8-0? Goals scored could be the difference between making the play offs and missing out so today feels like a missed opportunity.

FFS. Win convincingly and still there are moans.

I think we can all probably agree that he is the most attacking manager we have ever had. Numerous times this season he has had three strikers on the pitch at some point*. Philips our No.1 striker at the moment. I would like him here next season.
*backed by three attacking midfielders.

You're right about Phillips though. Is it just me or does anyone else think he has the look of a young Jarrod Bowen about him?

Delayed kick off apparently. Possibly 3:30. I think a crash on the M62. That's one of your bestest predictions.

Maybe he can redeem himself by describing what hell their team would have gone through between getting on the bus (at say 9?) and getting off it at 2:55. Whatever it was it has prolonged our season.

Pond 6; Skinner (seeking a big wage) 6, Howkins 7, Cameron 6, Hudson 6.5; Lyden 9; Okeke 8, Babos 7, Obadeyi 8; McHale 7, Phillips (given a run demanded by his parent club, neat finish for goal, mediocre) 6.
Very good. 3 points. You all know now Ceesay is less effective than Okeke and Obadeyi. Still tenth, same position as when Beadle was unceremoniously dismissed.
Two centre backs. The obstinacy of Caddis, in his best position - the stand - has been catastrophically too slow to learn. 92 hadn't even got into the Meadow End by 3.35.

'same position as when Beadle was unceremoniously dismissed.'
Does anyone know why Beadle was unceremoniously dismissed?
Good win, by the way.

Lyden made all the difference before he was sensibly hooked with the game already won by HT. They were a very poor outfit.

Job done. I'd like to have seen a bit more in the second half, instead of easing down, but such is life. Five more to go and every one is must win. Thought McHale showed glimpses of class. Sceptical when 34 year old Tope was signed but he has done well when fit.

Game of two halves. First half we were too good for them although they will blame the delay. Only they will know whether that’s right or not Caddis needs to be honest to himself and think how would we have faired had they not been delayed. Second half back to our usual self. Foot of the gas? Created problems for ourselves let them think they could get back into the game.Did not produce anything when our two main strike force were on the pitch together. They have had half a season about now are they producing what we all thought /believed preseason? 4-0 half time I would have thought at least 6-0 full time. Pond busiest keeper in the second half. Okeke limping towards end of game. Mchaile as a winger played well in the centre of the pitch. Maybe see how he goes with Crowley. Officials up to there usual standard. In the ground over half an hour before it was announced the game was to be delayed did no one think the crowd needed to be told until then.
Thank you to the ladies in the ticket office for the smiles first point of contact on match day also first point of abuse.

I knew there was a delay of sorts, only because Keith Hall tweeted it at about 14:20. Been told the referee didn't want anything communicated until they knew an arrival time but pathetic that even on social media, there was nothing to say "delayed kick off" until twenty minutes before the game was due to start. I'm not usually in the ground that early and left home at 15:15, so no idea what the communication was like at the ground.
