Unless they alter the price structure when they announce the dates, they will see a reduction in season ticket holders and also those that pay on the day. The budget will be based on Friday's online orders.

I don't want to be sitting next to peasants who can't afford those prices, me. Especially if of the Reeves variety, met one once on a walk, aggressive type them.

Still think they are missing a trick by not selling a half season ticket. There are many who would like to give the club money up front but, for work/family or other potential restrictions, know that they cannot commit to all matches. Surely a few thousand extra quid, at the season's start, allows Josh a better chance of assembling a half decent squad? Let's not kid ourselves, we have at least 2 players that higher graded clubs will be trying to pinch during the close season, which means JG will be left with even less than he has now. The best players of the current squad will NOT all be here in 4 months time.

Can someone please explain to a simple country lad how the club statement works. It says that "two additional fixtures, as the National League North increases in size to 23 teams next season". There are 22 teams this season, so the increase (somewhat bizarre to have an odd number of teams) in home fixtures will surely be one match not two? Or am I missing something?

I will buy my season ticket at the first opportunity. I will go to the games I am able to and will moan as I normally do if I don’t think we are good enough. What I won’t do is be an armchair/premiership supporter who doesn’t go to games moan if the chosen team loses, bask in the glory if they win. Change my alliance half way through the season when another team gets on top. One thing I do know is that next season one team will finish top and one team bottom in all leagues.

Prices seem ok to me. Arguing about the odd couple of quid seems a bit petty.
After all if you a buy a pint these days you’ll spend the best part of a fiver in most pubs.
And if we do well next season you’ll spend a bit more than that at each game and at the end of season celebrations.

Charging £285 to stand in a broken stadium in order to watch part time footballers desperately trying not to lose a Conference North match does not sound reasonable to me.

£12.39 a game assuming Cup games not included. Just over £2 of that goes to the Vatman so just a tenner a game can be spent by the Club. That doesn't seem expensive to me.

That’s the beauty of being retired not having work next day. I left my job for a younger person I could have stayed. I pay less to moan. But would the quality of the moaning be any worse.

If it was Hereford United would you think it was a ripoff?

If it was Hereford United would you think it was a ripoff? That is a good point. Below are taken from the football ground guide so should be for this season but may be a bit out of date (standing/seating, some have a single entry for all parts of the ground). AFC Fylde 14/18 AFC Telford 14 Alfreton 14 Blyth 12 Boston 14/16/45 (all seated, the last one hospitality) Brackley 13 Bradford 10 Chester 12/15 Chorley 15 Curzon 14 Darlington 14/16 Farsley 10 Gateshead 15 Gloucester 13 Guiseley 13 Hereford 14/16 Kettering 15 Kidderminster 15/17 Leamington 13 Southport 13.5/15 Spennymoor 14 York City ?? Ours is out of date so some of the others may be (although the games I went to were correct going by memory). Our £15.50 terrace price must play havoc with change and people with OCD's. Chester seems a bit cheap for one of the bigger teams, Fylde seems expensive (for one of the bankrolled teams). Gateshead let Newcastle of Sunderland season ticket holders in for a tenner which is a great idea. Assuming that all the others give similar discounts for season tickets over match by match prices we aren't going to be wildly over the odds. The only time that I have felt tickets were over priced was at Loooton and Swindon. They both wanted gold bars.

But you get to see your mates. You get to moan in public to real people. You get to get pissed, and in company if you want. You get to use your right hand (or your left hand) for gesturing at referees, which always makes a refreshing change. Sometimes, you get to shout "YES!" at the same time as other people. Small price to pay. You should try it.

I tend to agree with you on this and think that given the standard on offer, it is expensive. To put it into perspective though, I've been fortunate enough to watch Liverpool 5 times this season and I've just worked out that in total it's cost me £270 in tickets, all at face value! Not that I regret a penny of it mind you. And to be fair, amongst those 5 games, it did only cost £30 for me (£25) and my lad (£5) to watch them knock Shrewsbury out of the cup. 😀

Social media has ruined our local club . Years ago people turned up to games home and away and you’d only here banter at skittles or darts on a Friday or up town on Saturday then fans would wait till journal or times to hear . Now as soon as the game finished wannabe Alan hansens are demanding new players every week talking Absaloute garbage id ban anything to do with Hereford fc from social media for a season let footballers play football managers manage and the fans moan from 3pm to 4.45 only I bet they get sick of people moaning / blowing smoke up there asses

If it was Hereford United would you think it was a ripoff? Yes, I would think it was a rip off. How much of a rip off would depend on which league they were playing in. If it was in the Conference North and we had been at that level for years without ever looking like getting out then I would consider it to be a monumental rip off. However, I would probably just pay it out of shock that they had they had arisen like Christ and would be expecting Ascension Season.
