Without the revenue from the last two home games I think that is a bit showbiz for us.

I like Paddy Kenny and think he was a decent keeper but I don't see what his opinion has to do with the price of milk.
I reckon you're looking at £150 million for Bowen. Maybe £200 million. Having said that, he was pretty non-existent yesterday, so maybe they should just accept £60 million.

I spent two whole days at the QPR training ground waiting for him to turn up for our pre-arranged appointment. He eventually pitched up and granted me a few minutes of his precious time (my time wasn't precious of course). Nice to see him turning his hand to a spot of journalism. I hope he's learned.

As soon as I wrote that I feared that he might actually be an arsehole.
Well, he was a decent keeper, at least.

But you're right, he was a decent keeper. Jarod was quiet yesterday. I wonder if Liverpool is a good fit. I think being a constant first teamer has done him the world of good. Not sure he would get that opportunity at Liverpool (or Rice at Chelsea for that matter).

Tentative move in case the Salah contract situation doesn't resolve in their favour?

Tentative move in case the Salah contract situation doesn't resolve in their favour? And short term strengthening while Salah and Mane are away on Africa Cup of Nations. Though a lot of strength in depth up front at Liverpool.

£60m is a fair bit of dosh for a short term solution? Maybe Jarrod should go to Newcastle instead? £60m is chicken feed to the Saudis and if they go down he's a proven goalscorer at Championship level so will get them back up again

£60m is a fair bit of dosh for a short term solution? Yes, I agree. I was just thinking that a January move would help short term as well. I think staying at West Ham would be best for Jarrod, but I could see West Ham taking £60m for him. Profit on their investment, and money to spend, some of which could entice Lingard back.

A few trees filled with parakeets too IIRC. I had a lot of time for birdwatching as I was waiting for Mr Kenny!

And do you think with the wind blowing in the right direction you could hit Hereford Castle from it with a cannon ball?

I think you're all confusing Heathrow with Stevenage.

OK, I've kept out of the Roaring Meg debate so far, as powerful cannons and Christmas and New Year alcohol intake are dangerous combinations. However, wasn't Roaring Meg made in The Forest, and used in the siege of Goodrich Castle? I don't think there was anything left of Hereford Castle to be fired at by the time of the Civil War. EDIT - Apologies, it seems that I have replicated information given in another thread; I should have read the Ridiculous* thread first. * I do realise that this may not help you identify the thread to which I refer.

I imagine it would take a lot for Jarrod be tempted away from a resurgent Hammers and the charms of Miss Dani Dyer.
