Is it imperative that we win the next match - how many can we afford to lose?
Just to get the party started, like...

Signs of improvement and the odd lucky bounce giving us a tight 2-1 win. That'll do.

2-0 win on Saturday hopefully leading to a more confident 3-1 home victory against a strong Coleshill side.

Hopefully all the crap that's been thrown about since Saturday might actually have a positive effect on the players, 3-0 to the Bulls Saturday, and 3-0 against Coleshill!

Back to winning ways at Rocester on Saturday but I'm a bit fearful about high-scoring Coleshill on Tuesday. A home defeat so early might see a lot more dropping away. Here's hoping a better pitch and wide open spaces gets us through.

I think we will remain unbeaten at ES but have real problems on the road this season. 0-2 Sat, 3-1 Tues
COYW!!

Think it will be a not so glamorous performance but a 2-0 win on Saturday. And as long as we take the 3 points that's all that matters.

Apropos of nothing, I watched Rod MacDonald in central defence for Northampton tonight at Barnet. Nice to see one of our Conference team doing well (even if the rumour was true that he wasn't up for playing by the end of that season).

Apropos of nothing, I watched Rod MacDonald in central defence for Northampton tonight at Barnet. Nice to see one of our Conference team doing well (even if the rumour was true that he wasn't up for playing by the end of that season). He was a decent, if ultimately rather sulky, centre back. In a FM imitating art shocker, he was always the first of my Hereford United squad to kick off because I was refusing to consider bids from other clubs. Of course, this exposes another downside to killing the club and starting again in the MFL - no HFC on Football Manager, let alone FIFA!

Barnet won 2-0, both goals scored by the fantastic John Aknde, brother of one of last year's unfortunate accomplices. A really entertaining game, but unfortunately not remotely a substitute for a visit to the Street.
