If anybody on here knows why Beadle was sacked please just directly answer this post because I still don't have a clue and I am fed up of all the vague 'I know, you know' comments, just say it straight out ! Harris and Richards have driven the club to the brink once more and should have gone much sooner than they did. Slade, the record is terrible, but his problem is the mess he was left. He has players on the books that need to go, some of whom are contracted which makes it difficult when all the money has been spent by the previous pair. So it is difficult to judge Slade at the moment because whatever team we put out is not going to be good. We need a total clear out and start over from scratch in the summer but whether that is possible in this league when all your money has gone ? I'm not so sure. What I do know is that we are in a much worse state than that in which Beadle left us, and that is a sad state of affairs. Finally, what of all the good blokes that got us to this level and where never given a chance to show their worth, just ruthlessly culled by Harris and Richards, they were better than the current dire crop. I will say thanks to all of these guys and sorry that we treated you so badly in return. If you knew the nature of the issue - and plenty of people do - you would, honestly (!), understand that it would take a very bold person to commit it to print. The fact that neither party has commented should, anyway, have led you to that conclusion?

I’m glad that’s cleared up. If anyone would like to pm me what the hell is the reason for Beadle departure then I’m all ears.

Its quite an interesting one this. I've heard various things from a number of different people. But it appears there are 'plenty' who do know exactly what it was all about.
So why not say? It can't be sub judice as I'm not aware of any proceedings being involved. If they are worried about libel then these 'plenty' are not sure that what they 'know' is true and are therefore simply base level Tinsiders.

That Slade interview has all the makings of a man in total denial. No #@&t we need to ‘address’ the away form as quickly as we can. Whilst you’re at it Russ, how about addressing the home form too? And didn’t you say the same thing about 3 months ago? Not a lot of change in that time, huh?
What will you happy clappers do/say if we lose to BPA? I’m intrigued as to how long you’d all leave this situation to play out.

Any idea who you would want to replace Slade?
Can’t see the point in sacking him at the moment. That’ll cost mega bucks. The season is a write off anyhow. If we go down which we won’t, it might not be a bad thing anyhow.

The club needs stability if it's to move forward, sacking the manager every 5 minutes isn't the answer. Look how long it took Stockport to get out of this league, and they're a much bigger club than Hereford.
Slade needs time.

we have an opportunity to now use the remainder of this write off, to build a base for next august, so we can hit the ground running with the right manager and a good core of players To the board - the power is in your hands

I see guest-writer on Bulls News Son of Eric says 'this team will fail again, but next season it will rise if the manager is given a chance.'
If you read this forum SoE, please could you enlighten me as to what you base that belief on? I'm not baiting, I am just genuinely interested.

Whoever the manager is next season let's hope they don't give average at best players stupid contracts.

Bump.... purely because some of you on the Bradford (Brackets) thread are finally realising Slade is a total donkey.
And still none of his fan club can justify his performance other than telling me it's all the players' fault.
