Pawl. Some years ago, Alvin was a right tasty geezer who was respected by all and looked up to by Liza Goddard. IMO, nicking his moniker doesn't lend your posts the kudos and gravitas you may be hoping for. Unless I am missing something. Allegedly.

Does the successful candidate get to shower with the team after the game and enjoy the sight of the soapy water tricking over their pert young breasts? Just asking for a friend, like.

Isn't there FA grant money for women's football? In which case it wouldn't impact the first term budget. I couldn't see the board doing anything so enlightened unless someone else was paying for it! By all means correct me if I'm off base here.

insert code here UITC was advertising for coaches for the girls a few days I believe, before HFC decided to 'take on' the lasses. Am I correct?

Blimey. That's a bit out of order mate. Maybe best to delete that one.

"Tricking" even better - it conjures a picture of taking an irregular course. Thanks for your query on my behalf.

I thought you said he's "a right tasty geezer who was respected by all and looked up to by most."

If HFC had been generously donated a five figure sum from the FA to run a women's team, I’m sure they would have been up front and honest about it. No way would they grab the glory and say nowt, it’s not their style.

Mind you there will probably be more SA qualified players than EQP in the Glos starting XV next season.

I see the BBC have some dolly bird called Alexa Scott doing punditry on some of their games. I'm guessing they've employed her to make Phil Neville look intelligent by comparison?

I'm quite sure she knows more about football than me.
But why they always have to pose the question to her first - that really does smack of tokenism. I know, we've got two world reknowned ex-international footballers here but we HAVE to pose the question first to the ex-England women's player that few people have heard of.
I ain't arsed really. I'm all for the promotion of the women's game. it's all fine with me. But 3 times the lead question is to her rather than Ferdinand or Giggs Come off it.

Mind you there will probably be more SA qualified players than EQP in the Glos starting XV next season. Forgive my ignorance are Glos boys persona non grata for the selection powers that be? There has been a general belief at Castle Grim that Glos players are often unfairly overlooked. Probably not an entirely unfair viewpoint given the lack of England starts for the likes of Simpson-Daniel, Mogg, Hannaford etc etc. Even recently May was in and out of the team until he moved to Leicester and there was general mystification as to why Matt Kvesic didn't get a look in a couple of years ago (although, in truth, that was probably fair enough) Cipriani has the X factor and should definitely be in ahead of the rather limited Ford. Woodward has also gone to SA and hopefully will get a game next week. But, in general, most Glos fans are probably pretty indifferent to the national team and as long as Jones is in place (probably measurable in months as he has "lost the dressing room") he can keep breaking other teams star players. Now-the Under 20s final-good Glos contingent. Couple of real prospects in Walker and Seville (who is out scrummaging some of the First XV props at the tender age of 19)
