Will they decide to accept a deal that gives the UK a position that is worse than they have at the moment, or will there be a second referendum. Neither are Brexit really are they. Must say though, in this time of crisis for the UK, the sight of a number of Tory MPs jockeying for position to try to become PM is vomit inducing.

It's all been vomit inducing for nearly three years. And it ain't just the Tories. A shameful laughing stock all over the world. If this shambles of a government accepts a deal that is patently and obviously worse than that which EU membership affords us currently, there may well be civil unrest. All 650 odd MP's should hang their heads in shame for not putting the nation and its citizens above personal ideology and self promotion. All this is truly beyond belief. Aaah, that's better.

MPs might not be up to it, but at least they're reluctant to ruin our children's lives.

As it happens, have been in Europe alll week, and no-one is laughing More a mixture of bafflement and pity. Plenty of Brits working here who have some grave concerns, and a couple who are going home because their company has pulled the plug due to lack of certainty. A Swiss fellow summed it up as ‘why do you wish to chop your own legs off?’ (And yes I know, Switzerland isn’t in the EU)

It's the will of the people.
(To ensure the likes of Farage and Rees-Mogg are richer.)
Bit daft really.

And if it is, why have those who advocated it, failed to deliver it? That's where you should be directing your anger. Johnson, Gove, Davis, Fox, Rees-Mogg, the moronic Ian Duncan-Smith etc etc. The Brexiteers are solely responsible for this. No-one else.

No deal it is then. I think the country will be perfectly fine. In 15-20 years.

If they could could get "Make us as popular as when we got caught systematically fiddling our expenses powder" they would be buying it by the wheelbarrow at the moment.

Just so we're clear on this. FWIW pretty well every Remainer has been pointing out that the whole thing is a monumental clusterfeck from the Day Cameron announced the referendum. So sadly, I repeat, this is ALL down to the Brexiteers and the poor souls who swallowed their crap. About time they started owning it rather than trying to divert blame elsewhere. Hate to say you were told, but in this case you were.

Hate to say you were told, but in this case you were. A lady got a right ragging this morning on R5Live. She said that she voted to leave because she thought the remain majority would be so high that it would weaken us in the future when negotiating within the EU. She said she felt stupid afterwards. A fair few people texted in to give her grief. At least she had a decent reason I suppose. Rather than the "send the buggers back" sort of stuff that people were really wanting to say (and some were). Someone pointed out on the drive home that even a general election wouldn't solve anything, as no one could come up with a manifesto given that there is way too much recent evidence of politicians properly going back on their word, on a whole new scale. This is mental.

I'll probably get into right trouble now.
A large proportion of the population who voted "out" did so on the basis of their inherent rascism. That and nothing else. It's why we are where we are now.
Rule Britannia.

He failed miserably. He was succeeded by arch Brexiteer Dominic Raab. Who was instrumental in drawing up the Withdrawal Agreement he subsequently voted against. He failed miserably. Boris Johnson was Foreign Secretary. He failed miserably. The disgraced Liam Fox has been International Trade Secretary throughout this process. By tonight he promised to have hundreds of trade deals up and running. He failed miserably. Gove and the ridiculous duo of Grayling and Leadsom have been. In the cabinet throughout. Have they stepped up? Of course not. Get the picture? May stepped in because not one single Brexiteer was able to deliver on their promises. I admire her for that, if nothing else.
