Wanted to perfect his English, follow his chosen career outside the game and play in front of 2-4,000 fans. You don't get that. Perhaps the "Spanish bit" offends you. Old thinking dies hard? Whereas people who want to laugh at and dismiss Spanish players as a bunch of "Juans" who should be doing better elsewhere (just remind me where Spanish level nine - or four for that matter - gets crowds of 2-4,000) are NOT making tits of themselves.
