I have been a reader is f BB for many years and enjoyed the posts on it (more some than others) but due to work I never signed up.
Now due to a change in circumstances (which I won't bore you with) I have lots of time on my hands.
So I plan to put up a few simple questions as I do think some actually know what they want most.
Here is the first:
Do fans want a team to win playing unattractive football and scrapes out a win or a team that makes a few mistakes but plays attractive football but losses sometimes.

Play football the right way, even though it may not be perfect and win promotion. The question I would like answering is is it that the crowds are decent because of the fear of losing the club for good, the expectation of victories or that the price is right?. Possibly a combination of all three. It will be interesting to see if and when we return to the National League if the club chooses to keep an admittance increase to a minimum as I'm convinced that the current price is keeping the punters attending. It's trying to keep a happy medium I guess as we will want to attract the best possible players.

The discount to concessions is the worst I have come across in Non League football.

I don't accept the premise of the question. Playing hoofy, floaty-hopey unattractive football does not help you win. Making the right decisions and playing to your strengths helps you win..and naturally that is attractive.

Win at all costs.
This is not the level to which a genuine successor to the legacy of Hereford United should aspire.
Once the club is established near the top of the non-league pyramid it can play its way back to the FL with my blessing.

Nothing less than promotion this season is acceptable in my eyes however that is is achieved doesn't really matter, would rather scrap out a woeful 1 nill win than watch us lose an exciting game 5-4 again. So yes win at all costs for me.

I can't agree with winning at all costs. If what is played on the pitch is not what you enjoy watching, but the feeling of being victorious is, why waste 90 minutes watching?
Why not just sit at home/in the pub/down by the river, whatever you enjoy doing, and find out at the end of the game that you have won? That way, you've enjoyed your 90 mins, and you get the buzz of winning without having to watch the industrial, by numbers, method of achieving the victory.
Let's not be happy with chants of 1-0 to the Hereford (basically because I hate the song Go West)

Just keep scoring more than the opposition in every game no matter how pretty for the next 5 years then look at attractive winning football when we are back in a national league.

The original question is one of those questions that only gives you 2 choices choose either A or B. Well I want C. I want attractive football (at least for this level) and I want every game to be won by a least 3 clear goals. I don't mind a little bit of tension - say 10 minutes before we score first. That's what I want - no that's what I demand!

I really still don't understand the original question. If I'm tall and not all that skillful on the ground, I'll take the high balls hoofed forward all day long and I'll win'em. What I don't like is nippy little f*ckers playing balls on the ground at all angles around me. Because them I'm f*cked because I'm not good enough. Sometimes I wonder if half the people on here have ever played football. Scare the cr*p out of the opposition at this level...by playing it on the ground.

It's not as though we've struggled to score goals this season! By far top scorers in the league and creating chances. Cut out the silly mistakes at the back and we'll be just fine!

We've played 8 matches and we've learnt a lot. Where we are after 42 matches is all that matters. I still predict we will be at least 8 points clear by then.
