I'm not a huge fan of pork - except a hog roast. An entirely different matter.
Very hands on.

Middle of summer. Cricket, including some second tier stuff, 2 pages. Football - at an execrable level - 6 pages.

Only guessing like, but HT readers who watched Liverpool live last night 33%, HT readers who watched the last Test 9%.
HT readers who play or played football for a team or watch it live 50%, cricket 6%.
HT readers interested in football 85%, cricket 27.5%.
Pure speculation of course but I'd be interested to see how your (much better informed) figures vary.

There's nothing in the 'paper about Liverpool. Or indeed skateboarding, which is enacted by hundreds every day within full view of the office window.

Even skateboarding (at an execrable level) is more interesting than cricket.

The back page quotes local football luminaries putting down the demise of Sunday League football to night clubs staying open till 5 am. A tad simplistic. Mind you, I know the luminaries.

Sunday football has never been the same since it moved to morning kick-offs.

Knowing how keen you are, on providing a balanced view on most subjects, are you off to troll round Hereford's night clubs this weekend?

Yep, well beaten at Coleshill.
The big difference being that 'Fields played at team from the league below and we played a heavily financed team from a league above.
Bread and butter starts tomorrow night at Wednesfield.
