Great result. Purdie and James both out, should they be starting regularly? I don't think so at the moment

Great result. Purdie and James both out, should they be starting regularly? I don't think so at the moment I can only go on the last home match, but (IMO) Purdie was pretty much running the midfield for the second half - and leading by example.

Was it James who was sent off in one of the early matches? If so he'll have a three match suspension.

Just back - excellent result and performance. a few things helped: 1. decent pitch enabled passing football. 2. idiot number 6 from Heanor getting sent off. 3. fitness from the youngsters. 4. Willets - not flawless but exuded confidence. 5. great away support (circa 250) fuelled by some cheap ale in Spoons and the club house. 6. James and Purdie both absent - some boys became men today. Special mention for Haysam - superb.

Just back too! Brilliant! More Hereford there than Heanor. That final goal was the best. Whose pass was it? Absolute killer pass! What a day!

That was some pass - Moiera the youth team player I believe. No doubt some muppet will be saying we should sign James McQuilkin!

To be fair, their number 8's pass for their first - outside of the boot - was nearly as good. He looked a prospect until he tried top score from the half-way line, fell over and it almost hit the corner flag! LOL

Am I reading this wrong?
substitute Nathan Hughes winning possession in midfield, he cut into the box and his cross come shot was punched away by Heanor's young keeper Hannis. Pablo Heysham picked the ball up on the edge of the area and made no mistake in unleashing a shot which left Hannis well and truly beaten.

Harsh to chuck beer over their keeper when he let in the fifth or sixth? (Not you personally)

Haysham had the first shot and Hughes lashed in the rebound.

I did lose count at one stage and couldn't work out why their keeper was being taunted with slow counts up to six. I thought we had seven already. Then we did.
