Any way there are enough other threads to argue the toss about old and new regimes this one is about how we feel with the new club compared to watching the old and it ain't quite the same

All I can say is that if you think being on the Meadow End against Dunkirk was a rubbish experience then you are a bit sad and you aren't getting the best out of each day on this planet.

Or no home fans when we're away for that matter.

What do you want? "We only carry hatchets, for burying the dead so if you feel like fighting, we'll see you all outside. We are the boys of the Merton Meadow End. Skins." I had my son with me and he enjoyed it more than Anfield or the Etihad. Plank.

I know its going over old ground but still cannot see why the benefactors could not have stepped in sooner and saved HUFC just cant get excited about going to quorn, lye town etc , Not quite Leeds, Leicester etc but it is what it is, need to try our best to shout and get behind the lads, all season. I've been to every game so far but I'm not sure if I can make Heanor yet. Even at home, people aren't sounding too enthused though. Still, it is what it is, need to do what we can to help the players get us out of this league and up to the South and West.

We've always got the Meadow End. It's not great and no one should listen to the maxbull and bullsized propaganda. But it could still get better. Hang in there. A little bit old my self (53) to sing songs but all three games at home the meadow end has had no atmosphere the young uns don't sing any more, and if they do its half hearted and the same three songs, back in the 70's and 80's there were a dozen or so songs sang with gusto all through the game, but Political correctness has stopped a lot of them, it is the worst I have ever heard the meadow end, and the crowds are bigger than in ages the magic has gone Me, my cousin and a few lads who we never knew the names of but we always stood together at the front of the meadow end 2006-2009, used to buzz when we could get the whole Meadow End singing. We'd try a lot. I was probably 12 when I started going on my own and my cousin was about 18 months younger. I'm 20 now and the atmosphere's got worse since we were going. I've found the atmosphere to be flat, yeah I know that we're hardly playing amazing, winning football but the crowd being loud would motivate me and you can see that it motivates the players, when we were attacking at the end against Coleshill, it got going in the Meadow End and the team visibly picked up. It's an odd one because if a young lad or bunch of young lads starts a song up next to me, I'd say nice one. The first time we started I O Hereford, bloke next to us said 'good lads'. But it's not like when I was in school, when there was a period when we were around 13, when most lads from our year at school would go along and sing until we had no voices. I typically leave every game with no voice, to this day but there doesn't seem to have been the larger groups of teenagers giving it their all to get behind the players like there was. Still, all we can do is just shout etc and get behind the players as much as possible. Winning football will hopefully encourage a better atmosphere. *not typically this negative but this is just something I've noticed but can only come through people who are willing to sing getting their regularly and in an ideal world going home and away (atmospheres' are bound to be pretty rubbish away due to openness of grounds but it can build a loyalty, rather than just 'going to football (home games) cus there's nothing else to do'

I have to say that my interest will be determined by the style of football and how quickly the club reacts to the obvious deficiencies of the side.I remember the season before we got relegated to the Conference again and how I felt when Stuart Fleetwood side footed an equaliser to give us the point that ensured our survival for next season, emptiness. The football had been so dour that I couldn't muster any enthusiasm for our survival as it was obvious that we were no longer bringing good quality players to the club and that it was just a matter of time before we were to slip through the relegation door once more. So we now have supporters running our club and although they need to be prudent I hope that sometimes they view the team as if they were once again just a fan and ask themselves what should be done to improve the team. Simply I don't want to watch a team that was hard to follow, just like the Hufc team was after relegation from League One. As for is this a continuation of Hufc I often have conflicting thoughts, but if it isn't Hufc I am growing fond of it, for now.

I'll be interested regardless, being away from Hereford for most of the last two years has made me weirdly fonder and prouder of Hereford and subsequently of the club and I'll get along to aways in particular when I can. That said, the team NEED to start winning to encourage those that might lose interest or those that might only go to the game for something to do, from the financial point of view and also bigger crowds in theory are more appealing in respect to attracting players to Hereford. The main thing for me is for the players to give it their all. If everyone gives it their all every game, we'll win most as the lads clearly have talent but I'd like to see a couple of them try harder to help each other out and fight for the ball for 90 minutes. Winning certainly makes it easier for us as supporters to go to games, home and away though.

Have been more attached to the club since leaving 'a few' years ago. Having an online community has helped a lot, even perhaps been essential. Yes even the nuthouse that was Bulls Banter.* *Munsley, you will be found out one day. You should have chosen your battles a little more carefully.

This still very much feels like my club. It's the one I have been following for far too long and the one I helped fight for. When I walk into ES it feels like that missing year never happened. It is surreal going to some of these away games though. Highgate in particular felt all wrong to me. But We have to see that for what it is, sometimes in life you do have to step back to move forward and that's where we are right now. As fans though if we trully loved the club we were then we need to stick with what we have and help push it back to where it belongs. I time we will get there I am sure of it.

It's standing on the Meadow End that keeps me going... If we'd lost the ground it would be much harder for me... If we'd ended up ground sharing at Westfields.... I do feel depressed about thinking about past times but I'm happy to be back just got to get the f#ck outa this league =|

The atmosphere has been crap at ES for the last seven or eight years, if you're putting that down to HFC you're deluding yourself.
