Sorry I was speaking generally . I didn't see tonight so will take your word ont ...I find him good vocally usually but as I say I wonder what they are doing in training as a defence unit and how much specific keeper training he's getting im sorry but I have watched him a few times and my opinion hasn't changed. im sure we are playing him to get cheap printing by his old man!
Oh well footballs all about opinions I guess ... but I'm sure Beadle wouldn't base his selection on cheap printing .. Maybe another keeper would provide him with a bit of competition .who knows

New keeper, central defenders who can defend and holding midfielder required urgently otherwise the season is over as far as promotion is concerned. Desperately need some height in the team as well, starting with the keeper. You wouldn't see defending like tonight on Widemarsh Common - pathetic! We'll be pretty close to Widemarsh Common on Monday. So shouldn't look too out of place. Kimbolton under 7s came up with a perceptive man of the match. A defender.

What was beadle's plan B tonight? Or did he not have one as usual... Plan B was to bring on the tall bulky central defenders but they were still queuing to get in, I heard from a source that they were in and stripped off ready just as the ref blew for full time

well i was gona post tomorrow after work so plenty of time chill out however changed my mind, simple i think our midfield and forward line will always score plenty of goals at this level and could easily play couple divisions at least higher . however i will say our massive weakness is our short central defenders who cant head or command the box against the brutes who cant play football at this level, sorry but jamer your fooking shocking in the air mate and time to retire and just help out coaching, the other cd tonite oates? fook me sideways hes even worse, we will not finish top5 with the central defencers we got. simple get a couple of big mutant cloggers like all the teams we have played have got and seal the weakness in the air, dont give a shit if they got no technique or cant pass 10 yards leave that to rest of the team our heart of our defence is utter pathetic for the level were playing at. dont like to critize so early but cmon beadle wake up and get some big boys in there ffs i think its a bloody blessing jamer suspended so long No doubt the football genius's on here will try and pull this perfectly correct post to pieces

Wasn't there, won't try to pull anything to pieces. There must be an element of truth to what he says, I'd imagine. I'd like the mutants to be able to pass ten yards though.

What was the hubbub in the ME at the end of the game? Anybody any insight? Usual old ME nonsense - 2 lads had been wandering about a bit and went on the field at the end. One of them was the recipient of some over enthusiastic stewarding. Totally unnecessary. A number of people got involved with telling the stewards to pack it in, which they eventually did. Yes, the lads shouldn't go on the pitch but the stewards caused the problem. IMHO

I remember when we were relegated to the conference and I managed to make it a bit more bearable by convincing myself that we'd at least win a few more games now. I guess I was sort of the right the first season but then the second was an absolute shocker. Then we were getting beat in the Southern League and even though I never went it still hurt knowing my club was being beaten by sides that I'd barely heard of. Now we come even further down and it still seems a bit of a struggle and even despite the fact we're a new club and learning its pretty disappointing.
I thought the first game against Dunkirk whilst being ok had a sort of pre-season feel about it. For me it was clear to see though that we were getting beaten in the air almost every time and we massively lack height in the team. Looking at it now though I think we're really going to struggle to go up this year even if we bring new faces in. I don't think people demanded a 100+ points season but most would have hoped that we'd go up this year.
New teams starting at the bottom always run out of steam eventually but we seem to have run out almost before we've begun. No need to ask questions about Beadle quite yet, hopefully by game 10 its looking more promising but hand on heart I think it will have to take a minor miracle for us get from where we are now to getting promoted by the end of the season.
