It probably won't matter against pub opposition but I can't see anyone outside the back four who has ever made a tackle in vengeance.

According to their website the have just signed a fourth player this week. Toyosi Olusanga,a 20 year old striker. Background of Chelsea and Wolves. Scored on his league debut with AFC Wimbledon in 2016. Has been playing with Isthmian Premier League team Kingstonian and Walton Not starting. 0-0. Att. 2016. |

In all seriousness it’ll be a long while before we meet a side that bad again. Seems a weird set up too as the chairman told the assistant manager to take the player manager off.
As expected against such a team, nobody did badly. Thought Smith was particularly good, as well as Pring, Green and Pablo. Bit of a defensive balls up as Jimmy went awol for their goal but aside from that Puddy had nothing really to do - hopefully he keeps the jersey for a run of games now.
Actually played some good stuff second half. Confidence has looked really low recently so hopefully this improves matters.

Gosport were poor, but they never gave up, some weird goals today, ball bouncing all over place, hard to assess as Gosport were that bad, the referee made some bad errors that helped us, 1 being the tackle that gave us the free kick that we scored I think our 2nd goal,
it was a decent tackle and we should never had the free kick, even the goal was iffy. But really we hit post cross bar goalkeeper made some good saves, even the defender took one in balls for the club, satisfactory a win is a win at end of day.

Best entertainment of the day was watching Rowan Vine arguing with the bench. The "manager" and the owner then arguing over him, with the former saying "yes but he says he doesn't want to" was only topped by Vine subbing himself off.  |

Couple of tricks got him past the defender but scrappy finish as you say. Surprised he wasn’t given MoM (despite not having a standout performance) if only because you can see he is absolutely devoid of confidence and that would have helped remedy that. |

An odd spectacle today. The difference in ability was palpable - but still we seemed to struggle in spite of the final score...
Credit to Gosport for giving it a go.
MOM for me was Smith. He didn't stop running, chasing down their defence and being generally annoying to the Gosport defence. Deserved his goal and thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Worth keeping for next season is Lance. In my opinion.
